"I snuck and got my parents 1982 Canon film camera when I was 12 years old. I saved up my allowance for film and developing. It wasn't just the art of capturing the image, it was the tangible print that drew me to love photography. I was one of the last people (it felt like) that switched from film to digital, but I keep printing my favorite images! 11 years ago I started accepting money for my work, I started a business, got insurance, overcame a LOT of fears, and took the leap into my business. I was able to go full time with this business 8 years ago, and that has been a huge blessing! It freed me up to capture weekday elopements in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as accommodate unique scheduling needs for my commercial clients. Photography is more than a business, it's a passion thats been in my bones since I was 12! Now, I consider myself one of the most blessed people in the world...to be able to do a "job" that doesn't feel like a job at all! We've traveled from the Southeast to Long Island, NY.
